Terms from Hope End house

The following terms and conditions
apply to all bookings.

We are a very easy-going establishment but it has become necessary to clarify some terms and conditions of bookings.

  1. Deposits are required to secure accommodation. These are charged at £50.00 per night per room. They are non- refundable in the same way as any accommodation deposit made on a holiday booking. (BUT, as we want you to come and see us or come back to us, we will, at our discretion, make a refund should we be able to re-let your room.) Refunds will be calculated on a day to day basis. Should you decide to cut short your booking, £25 per night will be withheld and refunded as above. At the time of enquiry, the room will be held for only for 5 days whilst a cheque is sent. Due to people booking rooms then failing to turn up, we are unable to reserve accommodation without a deposit. It is strongly advised that you insure your holiday against unforeseen circumstances.
  2. Prices quoted on the phone assume the occupancy rate is as stated by you at the time of enquiry and are per room per night including breakfast.
  3. Child discounts are applicable only if accompanied by 2 full paying adults.
  4. Payment is accepted by cheque only if accompanied by a valid banker’s card up to the limit of such card. We can not accept Visa, Barclaycard and any other debit cards.
  5. Rooms are available for occupancy from 14.00 on day of arrival and must be vacated by 11.00 on day of your departure. Failure to vacate by the allotted time (without prior authorisation of the management) will result in an additional day s tariff being levied.)
  6. Terms quoted on the tariff are subject to alteration.
  7. We do not have a lift. All accommodation is on the first or second floors.
  8. Occupancy of the rooms should be taken up by 19.00 unless prior arrangement has been made to the establishment to facilitate late arrival.
  9. Cancellation

Charges for cancellation may apply as follows:

If for any reason you find it necessary to cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible.

  • 7 days or more prior to arrival, £10 p.p.p.n.
  • 6 to 3 days prior to arrival, 10% of total cost of booking.
  • Within 72 hours of arrival, no refund due, (unless we can re-book your room).
